Project Delivery: Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Compliance Consulting @ Transdev Australasia
Customer Challenge
Transdev Australasia, a leading operator of bus, ferry, light rail, and rail services in Australia and New Zealand, faced a critical challenge: refreshing Passenger Information Displays (PIDs) across 44 transport stops to meet contractual obligations with Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW). Key challenges included:
- Compliance Requirements: Ensuring the solution adhered to Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards.
- Audit Findings: Addressing key audit recommendations without requiring major infrastructure changes or redesigns.
